Role Description:
We are seeking a Lead Mobile Architect for a hybrid contract role based in the Manchester Area, UK. This position allows for flexible remote work arrangements. The Lead Mobile Architect will be a pivotal part of our team, focusing on:
Developing technical strategies and high-level designs for mobile services.
Managing a portfolio of over 20,000 mobile devices, ensuring top-notch management, security, infrastructure, and applications.
Spearheading projects including BYOD initiatives, Mobile Threat Defence, and MDM consolidation.
Influencing product lifecycle with an emphasis on improving user experience and operational efficiency.
Crafting and updating technical strategies to adapt to technological advancements and user expectations.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, offering leadership and technical guidance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Lead Technical Architect, preferably in complex IT environments.
Strong skills in software development and architectural design, specifically in mobile technology.
Expertise in Mobile Device Management solutions like Workspace ONE, and familiarity with iOS & Android device architecture.
Experience in infrastructure architecture, including knowledge of cloud technologies, servers, networking, and security.
Proficiency in Agile/DevOps methodologies and project management.
Excellent communication skills and technical authoring ability.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
